making a difference

The SEA's mission is to support and conduct non-partisan education and informational activities, increase public awareness of juvenile delinquency, combat crime within neighborhoods, and prevent community deterioration.

CLOTHING FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED

Social, Education, and Athletic Club, Inc. (SEA) helps the community in a lot of different ways. We assist elderly people who are physically incapable of meeting their needs without undue hardship or difficulty, and our back-to-school program provides assistance throughout the entire year by offering supplies as well as clothing.

About Us

SEA is a nonprofit organization that has a senior program, which provides Bingo in senior centers, as well as senior transportation. Serving New Orleans, Louisiana, and the surrounding area, we also have a back-to-school program that helps pay for school supplies and uniforms. This is a great way to support teachers and improve students' overall learning experience.

Our organization was founded after Hurricane Katrina because of our desire to help people. Through our closet program, we seek to aid individuals who have suffered hardship via a natural disaster. Aid is rendered upon referral by the American Red Cross, churches, and other nonprofit organizations, but everyone is welcome to visit our clothing closet. Our affordable clothing provides a great way to dress for less when you make a donation. We have everything you might find in a department store for men, women, and children, including pants, shirts, dresses, coats, underwear, and jewelry.

Contact SEA today to see how you can get involved. Our aim is to prevent community deterioration by offering supportive programs as well as effective disaster relief.
